Cloud FlexFriday students will join writer, editor and director Mariah Marasco for this hands-on workshop on the art of editing for film and tv. Students will learn the tools and tricks of the trade, and get to try some editing of their own!

Cloud FlexFriday students will learn about the craft of creating characters with your voice from award-winning voiceover artist, author and producer Tavia Gilbert. 

Since 2004, Tavia has performed and directed more than 1,000 solo, multi-cast, and full-cast audiobooks for virtually every publisher in the industry. She has also been nominated for or won nearly every possible award, including the coveted Audie Award for Best Female Narrator, for her emotional, evocative, powerful voice acting. In addition to being named Audiobook Narrator of the Year by Booklist Magazine, she was part of the full cast — including narrator Meryl Streep — nominated for a Grammy Award for Charlotte’s Web, her character of the Goose highlighted in reviews by Booklist Magazine, AudioFile Magazine, and the The New York Times.

Come and see the creative works and projects that Cloud students have generated so far this year! Students will share art and creative work from many domains, culminating in a screening of the Minecraft: Shakespeare class's performance of "The Tempest."
