Cloud FlexFridays: On the Radio!
Cloud FlexFriday students will be treated to a special workshop on radio, featuring Mike Zito, a broadcaster with over forty years of experience. Mike began his journey at WPKN in 1973, and along with Jim Honeycutt, former guitarist for The Repairs, taught TV production, film, and radio at Staples High School in Westport, CT, where he also advised the award-winning student radio station, WWPT. Students will learn about radio and have a chance to do some fun interactive activities!

FlexFriday: Creative Marketing Strategies Workshop
NY - Big Room - BIGThe "Random Crafty Creations" Enrichment Cluster will meet with Jessica Sorentino, a brand/marketing professional who works with direct-to-consumer brands to market with creative marketing strategies. Her philosophy is anchored in emotional consumerism -- working with clients on community building and fostering, with the ultimate goals of support, loyalty, and of course, ongoing sales! -
Parent Support Group
All parents from all campuses are invited to attend our Parent Support Group for an opportunity to connect with other FlexSchool parents, share strategies, and talk about all things gifted and 2e. The group is hosted by the FlexSchool counseling team, and meets once a month in Caroline’s Zoom room. -

Cloud FlexFridays: Weaving with Chelsea Danburg
Cloud FlexFriday students will weave their own fabric, led by multi disciplinary artist Chelsea Danburg. Chelsea majored in textile design at Rhode Island School of Design with a focus in weaving. Chelsea loves weaving because it is the alchemy of engineering and art – freedom to create while held in the safety of a purposeful structure. Once the structure is in place, weaving becomes a rhythmic, tactile meditation of color and materials.
Chelsea’s current projects include: dreamy handmade textiles for the home and wall; an innovative planner for creative thinkers and ‘Painted by Rain’, an artbook of poetry and photography. Additionally, Chelsea teaches weaving workshops and private lessons at Studio Andreas in Stamford, Connecticut. -
