Cloud FlexFriday students will explore practical tools for managing stress and finding calm in this workshop on relaxation techniques. The session will introduce accessible methods like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness exercises that can be used anytime, anywhere. This workshop will help recharge, focus and unwind as we come back to school in the new year. -

Cloud FlexFridays: Creating Family Stories
Cloud FlexFridays: Creating Family StoriesCloud FlexFriday students will explore their family’s history in this interdisciplinary workshop, connecting to the work they are doing in humanities this trimester. Students can choose between two engaging activities: interviewing a family member to uncover stories about ancestry, migration, and traditions, or creating narrative or perspective-based art inspired by a family story they already know. -
Parent Support Group
All parents from all campuses are invited to attend our Parent Support Group for an opportunity to connect with other FlexSchool parents, share strategies, and talk about all things gifted and 2e. The group is hosted by the FlexSchool counseling team, and meets once a month in Caroline’s Zoom room. -

Art Collaborative's Gallery Walk Field Trip
On Friday, the 24th (weather permitting), the Art Collaborative Enrichment Cluster will take a walk into town to visit the Objects and Images Gallery and The Fine Arts Gallery. As part of the experience, we’ll view the art on display and interview the gallery owners/employees to learn more about the process of showcasing and promoting artwork. Please make sure to wear appropriate clothing! -
Cloud FlexFridays: Debate Skills with Sam Young of Young Scholars Academy
Cloud FlexFriday students will have the opportunity to gain confidence, organize their thoughts, and improve their communication and listening skills in this exciting debate workshop led by Sam Young of Young Scholars Academy! Students will delve deeply into logic, persuasion, reasoning, and perspective-taking, while learning to craft evidence-based claims. They will also create a fun ad to test their persuasive skills!
Young Scholars Academy is a virtual village that offers strength-based enrichment courses and community for 5-18-year-old gifted, twice-exceptional, and bright, differently-wired kiddos to empower them to develop their strengths, and make like-minded friends under a caring, mentorship model.
