Berkeley Heights Yearbook & Senior Photos
Say "Cheese!" Yearbook and senior photos will be taken on the Berkeley Heights campus on April 3rd and 4th. Staff and 3rd–8th graders will have their photos taken on Thursday. The 9th–11th grade and senior photos/portraits will be taken on Friday. Families will have opportunities to purchase photos in the coming weeks. -

Showtime! The 4th–6th grade students will adventure out to see the opening showings of The Minecraft Movie. -
Cloud FlexFridays: Songwriting with Canyon
Ever feel stuck when you’re trying to write? Canyon totally gets it—and she’s here to help you shake that off in this hands-on FlexFriday songwriting workshop. Cloud students will kick things off by writing a group song together, then explore ways to get out of our own heads and let ideas flow more freely. No experience needed—just bring your voice, your thoughts, and your curiosity.Canyon’s own songwriting journey started in 3rd grade with classical guitar and a love of pop radio and took her all the way to the Connecticut Music Awards. Renamed after a Neil Young lyric as a baby, she’s been surrounded by music her whole life. These days, she blends indie folk roots with bold, modern pop hooks to tell stories full of heart, humor, and hard-earned wisdom. Her new album Just Wait (coming summer 2025) is all about motherhood, meaning, and the messy beauty of being human. -

Parent Workshop
The Sensitive-Gifted Connection: Nurturing Your Unique ChildJoin Melissa Schwartz, specialist and coach supporting highly sensitive children and their families, as she unravels the often misunderstood connections between high sensitivity, sensory processing challenges, and giftedness. Parents will gain clarity on how these traits intersect and influence their child's daily experiences, emotional responses, and learning style. Through real-world examples and evidence-based insights, you'll learn practical strategies to support your child's unique sensory needs while nurturing their exceptional abilities. This session will help you move beyond traditional labels to better understand and advocate for your highly sensitive, gifted child. -

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, students in Jenna's American Literature classes will head to New York City to attend a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of the new Broadway hit, "The Great Gatsby" at The Broadway Theatre.

Friday, April 11, 2025, will be the last day of in-person classes. Students will switch to project-based learning until May 21, 2025. -
Berkeley Heights Visits Fosterfields Living Historical Farm
The Berkeley Heights students will visit Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morristown, NJ, for an informative, hands-on experience to learn more about some local history. -

Parent Support Group
All parents from all campuses are invited to attend our Parent Support Group for an opportunity to connect with other FlexSchool parents, share strategies, and talk about all things gifted and 2e. The group is hosted by the FlexSchool counseling team, and meets once a month in Devin's Zoom room. -

Berkeley Heights Visits Grounds for Sculpture
The Berkeley Heights students will adventure to Grounds for Sculpture, "a museum, sculpture garden, and arboretum where art and nature are always at play!" -
College Readiness Workshop: Bard College Tour!
30 Campus Rd, Annandale-On-Hudson, NY 12504
On Friday, April 25th, students participating in College Readiness Workshop will head to Bard College for a tour of the campus. The school bus departs campus at 8 AM and returns by 3 PM.
