Bronxville Explores the MCNY

Bronxville students visited the Museum of the City of New York to participate in a 90-minute program called “I Dream of NYC: 100 Years of New York Life through Art.” In this workshop, students explored how painters, fashion designers, and photographers have used their imaginations to create art inspired by NYC’s public destinations and private refuges. After viewing the exhibition, students created their own Faith Ringgold-inspired story quilts to document the destinations that make the city their own.
